Hydac Autofilt Automatic Strainers

H.C. Warner is pleased to announce that they have been selected to represent Hydac Filters for their AutoFilt Backwashing Automatic Strainers in Florida. These are commonly called de-sanders in the municipal water industry because they help reduce the sand that comes out of the wells before it hits the prefiltration and membranes. These units are available in carbon and stainless steel, ASME code design, from 2" to 36" connections for flows up to 31,000 gallons per minute!

Other industries that also benefit from the use of a Hydac Autofilt are the steel industry for protecting cooling noozles, cooling towers to keep the water free from debris, chemical plants for bulk reduction of contaminants in process water, and the automotive industry to keep coolants and parts washers clean.

Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how a Hydac Autofilt can improve your process and productivity.

New! Parker Fulflo Pleated Bag

Parker Advanced Filtration Division annouces its newest product offering: the Fulflo Pleated Bag (PB) Series. Drawing from the medias currently available in its high-end pleated filter cartridge line, the PB series allows you to have the same medias in a bag housing. This will increase your dirt-holding and flow capabilities tremendously if you are used to using 2.5" cartridges. If you are replacing a high efficiency bag, then you have the capability of even tighter filtration and longer run times between change outs. Available in 90% nominal and 99.9% absolute ratings, polypropylene or glass fiber media, the PB series should meet most stringent filtration requirements.

Increased yields on plastic molding

Using Beko Technologies BekoBlizz, you can increase your yields on rotational or blow molding plastics by reducing part cooling times. Beko Blizz can deliver -49 degrees F dry compressed air, optimizing deep cold air cooling systems. Instead of investing in more molding machines, why not investigate the possibility of increased production from your existing machines?

Contact H.C. Warner, Inc. for more information on how Beko Blizz can benefit your plastic molding operation.

Paint & Ink Filtration

Filtering paints, inks, adhesives, and other very thick fluids, can be a challenging task. Thicker viscosities make some filtration technologies such as wound cartridges useless as the pump has to work too hard to push the liquid through. This is where the term "void area" in a filter comes into play - the more void area (the space in between the fibers of a filter), the easier it is to flow thick solutions through.

Good choices include Parker's ProBond filter cartridge, bag filters, wedgewire screens, and strainers. Please consult with a H.C. Warner engineer for proper filter selection.

Transformer Oil Dehydration System

H.C. Warner, Inc. is a long time representative of Velcon Filters of Colorado Springs. Velcon specializes in oil/fuel filtration and has state of the art equipment for drying out transformer oil. Dissolved water in transformer oil reduces the effectiveness of the oil to insulate the transformer. Excessive water can cause arching, which creates carbon particulate in the oil.

Water reduces the oil's dielectric strength, thus reducing the efficiency of the transformer.
Velcon's Superdri system removes dissolved water through a patented molecular sieve process, eliminating the need for heat or vacuum. Utilities operators and technicians prefer Velcon Superdri systems due to their ease of use and ultimate effectiveness.
